Together Toward Health Project

Project Summary: CIMC is operating a Together Toward Health Project to complete an educational and outreach campaign with 50 tribes, to set up a centralized testing hub at the CIMC Central Office, to organize and implement a “train the trainer” program to increase COVID-19 testing within Native American communities, and to organize events to administer COVID-19 tests to tribes and partners.

Project Period: March 1, 2021 - November 12, 2021

Target Population: Native Americans, Alaskan Natives and Native Hawaiians living in the state of California, both on and off-reservation, federally-recognized, state-recognized and unrecognized tribes in 42 California counties.

Funding is provided by Together Toward Health, a program of the Public Health Institute, through funding from a group of philanthropic organizations.
